Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 10:47PM One more day till I begin my new journey as a Java developer. How will it go? Will I over come the odds? I've been told if I know C#, Java will be a breeze. Well I'm excited, motivated, and just generally geared of for change for what I really hope is a better opportunity to contiue to grow as a (I hope) well rounded developer. Oh well, I guess I will just have to wait and see..................

All I can say is welcome to the development world. Everyday I'm confused, lost, and have no idea what I'm looking at and I love very minute. I am already the default go to person on certain topics which is amazing given the 30 days in. I've automated processes, written multiple new utilities, and maintained/changed existing code that is way above my level. But I must say if I am really enjoying myself. Folks don't mind helping explain or show you how things work. Everyone is very encouraging and seem to appreciate your hard work. So much more to look forward to here.
Monday, April 5, 2010 at 12:33AM My first developer position. Yeah!! Been a long time coming and it's finally here. Jr. .Net devolper and seems like I'll be able to use my recently aquired Sharepoint knowledge as well. In one word, "sweet". Tomorrow makes day one of my 1st full week on the new job. Looks to be challenging, 1st programming gig and all, but exciting.
And of course I must give a big shout out to Penn Sanders at Find Good People, www.fgptech.com, for working real hard to get me this job.
